The longest-established school in Margaret River and the one with the widest published range — beginner group lessons through to performance coaching, plus schools and corporate groups. It is run by Simon Tien, a big-wave surfer and registered paramedic, and every coach carries current first aid plus either a Surf Search and Rescue qualification or a Surf Life Saving Australia Bronze Medallion, accredited through Surfing Western Australia. That is a more specific safety claim than most schools make, and on this coast it matters. Published rates: beginner group lessons A$60 adult and A$50 child for two hours; private group A$90 and A$65 per person with a two-person minimum; individual lessons A$165 adult and A$130 child. Boards, wetsuits and equipment are included. Open seven days, 7am to 6pm, based at the Rivermouth car park at Prevelly — the same headland as Main Break, though lessons run on the beginner sand rather than the reef. Prices are in Australian dollars and are not converted here. No accommodation: in Margaret River you book a bed and you book lessons separately.
