Taghazout Bay

Morocco

Northwest African winter. Long right-hand points peel for hundreds of metres at Anchor Point and Killer Point, while Banana Beach and Devil's Rock cater to surfers still building confidence. Cheap, warm, easy to reach.

Why Morocco

Morocco runs on a winter swell window when most of Europe is freezing. Taghazout Bay is a 25 km stretch with a dozen named breaks, walkable or short-taxi accessible. English is widely spoken in surf circles; Berber and Arabic everywhere else.
