The world's largest surf-camp economy. Beginner-friendly Kuta and Canggu sit two hours from the world-class reefs of the Bukit — Uluwatu, Padang Padang, Bingin. Cheap food, warm water, every level catered for, every year.
Why Bali
Nowhere on the planet has more surf camps in a smaller area. Canggu alone has 40+. The Bukit Peninsula concentrates more world-class reef breaks per km than anywhere outside Mentawais.
When to go

Getting around
Fly into Denpasar (DPS). Most camps in Canggu/Uluwatu are 60–90 mins from the airport. Hire a scooter only if you're experienced — traffic is unforgiving.
