The learn-to-surf beach of Cape Town, and one of the gentlest in the world for it: a long sandy bay in False Bay that breaks in slow, straight lines and holds a rideable wave most days of the year. The whole surf economy of the city starts at Surfer’s Corner. Winter fronts add size and turn it into a proper wave rather than only a classroom.
