A friendly bed-and-breakfast operating since 1998, a ten-minute walk from Playa Encuentro, with a spread of room types, breakfast included, two pools, a yoga loft and Starlink wifi, and an on-site surf program run by Wave Soul Retreats (certified instructors, video coaching) — weekend camps from about $280 and one-week packages from about $800. Booking is through the Sirvoy engine. It's a relaxed, wellness-leaning value option for solo travellers and couples. Honest caveat: the stay (Surfbreak) and the surf school (Wave Soul Retreats) are two brands sharing one venue, so you book the room and the surf package as linked pieces.
