About this camp
A school on Playa Bonita, on the Samaná peninsula — a different coast from the Cabarete cluster that dominates Dominican surf travel, and a beach whose waves are a short walk from where the lessons start. It is based at the Mosquito Boutique Hotel and run by Carolina, who third-party listings describe as an ISA-certified instructor and a former Athlete of the Year, with the school operating since 2009. The offer covers group and private lessons, more advanced coaching, board rental and repairs, plus paddleboards and kayaks. Honest caveats. **This is a school, not a stay** — it works out of a hotel rather than offering its own rooms, and booking that hotel is a separate transaction from booking a lesson. No prices are published on its own site, and bookings go by phone or email rather than a booking engine. The ISA credential and the 2009 founding date come from third-party listings rather than from the school's own pages, so both are recorded as indicative; what its own site does establish is that it is current, carrying assets uploaded in July 2026.
