Praia do Morro das Pedras
The rocky headland between Campeche and Armação, and the island's clearest right-hander when it is working. It is not consistent: it needs a genuine S/SE swell before the wave sets up properly behind the rocks, and it spends a lot of the year not doing much. When the swell arrives it gives long, hollow rights with fewer people than the beaches either side of it. Surf-Forecast classifies it as beach and point; the wave worth travelling for is the point, which is how it is recorded here.

Not a teaching wave. The break is defined by the rocks, the current runs hard along the headland, and independent Brazilian coverage is explicit that it is unsuitable for beginners. Learn at Barra da Lagoa or the mellow end of Ingleses and come here once rocks and moving water are not the problem.
