Grumari
Grumari sits just around the headland from Prainha inside the same protected coastal reserve, and it is the quiet one — an exposed sand-bottom beach break with fast lefts and rights that very rarely gets crowded. It takes a mix of groundswell and windswell, works best on a S to SSW swell with N to NW offshore, and surfs at all stages of the tide. Autumn and winter are the peak, around June, but it breaks year-round and holds size on a solid SSW.
