About this camp
This is the safe, competent choice for families, couples and nervous beginners: a big board fleet, bilingual instruction, roughly 1:4 adult ratios (1:2 for kids), and they drive you to La Lancha, Sayulita or Burros depending on conditions rather than making you surf whatever is out front. Lodging is not a single camp house — you pick a tier, from a hostel with a pool up to a suite hotel with breakfast — which is why the vibe changes a lot with your booking. The honest downside, and it recurs in reviews, is that it can feel like a surf school with a hotel booking attached rather than a bonded camp; if your reason for going is meeting a crew, you may end up eating dinner alone.
