About this camp
Suits solo travellers and progressing surfers who want a hostel-priced base with real instruction attached. Instructors are ISA-certified and licensed by the Chilean maritime authority; beginners are taught on the mellower Puntilla and beach side, while guided sessions run at Lobos and surf trips head further down the coast. Lodging is hostel-style, with a big shared kitchen, a fire pit, sauna and fast wifi for remote workers. The honest downsides: no rates are published at all — everything goes through WhatsApp — and Punta de Lobos itself is a cold, powerful left point needing a 4/3 wetsuit, which no beginner is actually going to surf.
