About this camp
Best for beginners who want a real Hawaiian waterman lineage and a less chaotic lineup, and for longboarders who want an advanced session with an actual world champion. Coaching is structured around a clear beginner method, the instructors are lifeguard-certified, and there are genuine intermediate and advanced options — rare among Waikiki schools. There is no lodging; lessons only. The honest downside is the wave: Kaimana is small and fickle compared with Queens, so on a flat day the session becomes more paddling than surfing.
