About this camp
Surf Simply is a coaching resort rather than a surf holiday, and it prices like one. The published week caps the resort at 14 guests against nine ISA- and ILSF-qualified coaches, and every coaching day carries theory lessons covering swell forecasting, board design, etiquette and judging, plus pool sessions on paddle technique, duck diving, turtle rolling and board agility. Video is central: you get raw footage and a custom edit of your week. The resort's own price page states the listed prices cover everything except flights and the Wednesday break-day meals, and includes all other meals, tours and activities for a non-surfing partner, mobility training and massage. The honest downside is the number: the cheapest published rate is $7,823 per person for two sharing in the May-October season, rising to $9,134 for a solo surfer in winter, which is roughly eight times a typical Costa Rican surf week. Board use is not stated anywhere on the site, so it is not claimed here.
