About this camp
SSS has been on Kata Noi Road for eighteen years, running diving and freediving alongside the surf school, and the surf camp is the part that includes a bed. Packages run from two days to ten and bundle accommodation, daily coached sessions, board, rashguard and photos. Rooms are private or shared and a short walk from the sand. The season is the thing to plan around: bookings open on 1 May and close on 31 October, because outside those months Phuket's west coast has no surf. Kata itself is a sandy beach break with no reef, which is why the island's teaching scene concentrated here.
