About this camp
Pousada Recanto da Nina is a small, homey 12-apartment guesthouse on a quiet street toward the Barra (east) end of Maresias, a short walk back from the sand. Rooms are simple with air conditioning, mini-bar and private bathrooms, and breakfast is included. For guests it runs an "escolinha de surf" led by veteran competitive surfer Marco Aurélio Correia, with beginner-friendly lessons booked at reception. The trade-off is that it is a lodging-first pousada — the surf program is guest-oriented and modest rather than a structured week-long coaching camp, and rates and lesson schedules should be confirmed directly.
