Ocean Adventure's "La Centrale" is the social heart of Hossegor — a big house (dorms to private villas) five minutes from the beach, with intensive beginner-to-intermediate progression courses and a lively bar-restaurant scene. Electric and sociable rather than calm; lessons are priced separately from the room. Recent reviews are positive but modest in number (Google 4.0).
