About this camp
A six-cabana lodge north of Popoyo proper, at El Astillero, with more than fifteen surf spots within reach. Packages come in three tiers by ability — Get Up for beginners, Get In for intermediates, Get Shacked for experienced surfers — and all of them are room-and-board: three cooked meals a day with water, tea, coffee and soft drinks included, taxes in, board rental added on the beginner tier, and Managua airport transfers included once you stay five nights or more. Cabanas have queen beds, private bathrooms and their own terraces, and there is a pool. The reviews are genuinely exceptional: a 5.0 average across roughly a hundred Tripadvisor reviews, with guests repeatedly naming current staff and describing days scheduled around conditions rather than a timetable. The honest downside is total price opacity — no rate appears anywhere on the site or its booking page, every enquiry is quote-only, and no instructor ratio is published either.
