About this camp
Lapoint's Costa Rica house sits at Playa Carmen, the southern end of Santa Teresa, a few minutes' walk from the beach it teaches on and about ten from the town centre. The published week is 7 nights with 7 breakfasts and 5 dinners, a surf course of 5 x 2 hours, surf theory, transport to the lessons and six days' use of boards; an Intensive option doubles the course to 10 x 2 hours, and a Yoga & Surf option adds six hours of yoga. Video analysis is included on the Level 3 course only. Coaching runs at a maximum of three students per instructor, which is the tightest ratio in the Lapoint group outside El Salvador. Accommodation is a dorm-and-private mix; per-room rates are not published, so only the package price is shown here. Note that unlike Lapoint's other camps, flights and transport to the camp are explicitly not included.
