About this camp
Trading in Muizenberg since 1989 and, by its own account, South Africa's first surf school. The week-long camp is six days of surfing on a Sunday-to-Sunday format with one lesson a day, unlimited use of gear, accommodation included at its surf house in Kommetjie, and a farewell braai, from R16,000 per person and capped at eight people — one of the tightest caps in this catalogue. Outside the camps it runs private lessons at R1,300 an hour, group lessons at R800 and family groups at R1,000. Read the calendar before the price: the group camps are published for January to March, which is the South African summer, while Cape Town's swell season is the winter. Meals beyond the braai are not stated.
