About this camp
The Sri Lankan house of Dreamsea, a group that builds and runs its own camps across eight countries rather than reselling other people's. Instruction is laddered into Level 0, 1 and 2 courses of ten hours each, taught at a published one-instructor-to-four-students ratio, with theory, water time, fitness and video analysis at the higher levels. The dorm-to-private spread makes it the most accessible of the Ahangama cluster for solo and budget travellers, and it is the only camp here publishing a full rate table. Honest trade-off: it is the most hotel-like and highest-volume option in the village, and guest reviews note the price feels steep against the infrastructure — including no backup generator during power cuts.
