About this camp
Playa Venao is Panama's forgiving beach break — a genuinely different proposition from the reef points at Santa Catalina that make up the rest of the Panama list — and Club Venao is the clearest-priced way into it. Packages come in 5, 7 or 10 nights and the published table covers all of them: the Surflodge room for two runs $1,394 / $1,574 / $1,844, an El Sitio Room for two runs $1,784 / $2,024 / $2,384, and an El Sitio Suite for three runs $2,889 / $3,345 / $3,729. Every package includes breakfast each morning, a two-hour coaching session daily (or two one-hour sessions), unlimited surf gear, surf photography with video analysis, and fitness access; longer than ten nights is discounted. Co-founder Pierre is a certified ISA surf coach. The honest downsides are that no instructor ratio is published — only that groups run to six people — and that the camp's own blog has not been updated since 2023, so the live signal comes from the package page and reviews rather than from fresh site activity.
