About this camp
Bahia Surf Camp’s second base, and the newer of its two. The operator has run its Busca Vida camp near Salvador for more than two decades; this one is a recent opening on the Costa Sul, set close to Itacaré’s town centre, beaches and breaks rather than on the sand. The pitch is the surf programme rather than the property: every stay includes it, and it runs as daily coaching plus guided surf trips along the coast, video analysis and one-to-one instruction, drawing on the same coaching operation as the north-shore camp. The local partner is Junior Sampaio, who moved to Itacaré when it was still a fishing village at the end of the 1980s and helped build the surf scene around Praia da Tirirça. Rooms are boutique-hotel style in three grades — shared, private and family suites. Honest caveats, and the first one matters most: this location is newly opened and has no third-party review record of its own, so the 4.7-from-99-reviews figure you will find online belongs to the Busca Vida camp, not to this one. The published price, from €380 per person, does not say what period it covers; its booking system is live on a dedicated subdomain and on the HQBeds platform, but open inventory could not be read without running their booking app. No street address is published for Itacaré. Meals are not described for this base, unlike Busca Vida.
