About this camp
A small hostel five minutes from Avellanas beach, running its own surf school rather than referring guests out to one. Rooms are four-bed shares and privates suitable for couples, families or solo travellers, all with air-conditioning and bathrooms — a step above the fan-cooled norm at this end of the market. The school covers beginners through to technical coaching for experienced surfers and offers surf photography and video analysis. A cafe on site opens 06:30 to 17:00 for coffee, smoothies, fruit, pastries, sandwiches and wraps, which in practice means breakfast before a dawn session; there is no dinner service. The honest caveat is that the site publishes no rates at all, for beds or lessons, and takes bookings by form and WhatsApp — so treat this as the budget option to enquire about rather than one you can price against the others here.
