About this camp
Abolição Amigo do Mar is a surf school on Maresias beach (entrance 8, in front of Coconut's Hotel) run by Alexsandro "Abolição" dos Santos, a local caiçara and professional longboarder who has been teaching here since October 2010. It offers surf and stand-up paddle lessons for children, teens, adults and older beginners, with boards and equipment provided. There is no accommodation — it is a lessons-only school, ideal to pair with a pousada or hostel nearby; prices and scheduling are handled directly by WhatsApp.
